Why 1440?
Every day, each of us is given exactly 1,440 minutes.
No matter who we are or where we come from, we all receive the same gift—time.
At 1440 Ministries, we believe those minutes are more than moments to get through. They are opportunities to know Jesus more deeply, love others intentionally, discover our God-given purpose, and make an eternal impact.
Our name is a daily reminder that life is a gift, purpose is intentional, and every minute matters.
How We Live This Out
We don't just encourage intentional living—we create opportunities for people to encounter Jesus, discover their purpose, and live every minute with intention.

The Heart Behind 1440
We believe every person is created by God for a purpose.
Our heart is to create environments where people encounter Jesus, discover their purpose, build authentic community, and learn to live every minute with intention.
Because every minute matters.
The People Behind the Mission
Hi, we're Cale and Ja'Nae McMellon.
Before we tell you about 1440 Ministries, we'd love to introduce ourselves.
We've been married for 18 years, are raising four incredible children, Yuriah, Judah, Caleb & Ellianna. We have the privilege of serving together as Associate Pastors at New Life Church in Amarillo, Texas. We also have the privilege of serving together each day at Perdue Acoustics, where God has continually reminded us that ministry doesn't begin when we walk into a church building on Sunday and end when we leave.
Whether we're leading a team at work, opening our home to friends, investing in our children, encouraging someone at the gym, serving our local church, or simply having a conversation with a stranger, we believe every interaction is an opportunity to reflect the love of Christ.
Over the years, God has continued to reshape the way we see ministry.
Like many people, the COVID season challenged us in unexpected ways. As churches gathered in homes and smaller groups, the Lord deepened something He had already been teaching us. We were reminded that while we deeply love the local church and have devoted our lives to serving it, ministry has never been confined to four walls.
When you realize you are the Church, everything changes.
As we read the Gospels, we began to notice something with fresh eyes. Most of Jesus' ministry didn't happen inside a synagogue. It happened on dusty roads, around dinner tables, beside wells, in homes, and in the everyday rhythms of life. He met people where they were. That realization continues to shape how we live, lead, and serve today.
Today, ministry looks different than we once imagined. Sometimes it happens from a platform. More often, it happens in the everyday moments of life—across a conference table at Perdue Acoustics, around our dinner table, during a workout at the gym, over a cup of coffee, or while praying with someone who simply needs hope.
We've come to believe one simple truth:
Ministry isn't a place you go. It's a life you live.
Long before 1440 Ministries had a name, however, it began with a question that refused to leave us alone.
What if one day we stand before God and discover He isn't only going to ask us about the things we did... but also about the things He created us to do that we never did?
That question changed us.
It changed the way we viewed our time.
The way we used our gifts.
The dreams God had placed in our hearts.
The opportunities He placed in front of us.
The resources He entrusted to us.
And the people He called us to love.
Out of that conviction, 1440 Ministries was born.
Every single day, each of us is given exactly 1,440 minutes.
We believe those minutes are a gift from God—not simply to be spent, but to be stewarded. Every minute is an opportunity to love someone, encourage someone, serve someone, grow in our faith, pursue God-given purpose, and make an eternal difference.
One statement has become the foundation of everything we do:
We want to stand before God one day knowing we left nothing on the table for His Kingdom.
No unused gifts.
No buried talents.
No abandoned dreams.
No missed opportunities to love.
No hesitation when God called us to act.
That conviction shapes the way we live.
It shapes our marriage.
The way we raise our children.
How we lead at Perdue Acoustics.
How we serve our local church.
How we steward the resources God has entrusted to us.
And how we care for every person He places in our path.
Whether we're hosting a Wellness Weekend, leading a Bible study, serving our community, supporting another ministry, helping send a child to camp, providing groceries for a family in need, or simply praying with someone during an ordinary conversation, our mission is always the same:
Helping people encounter Jesus, discover their God-given purpose, and steward every one of their 1,440 minutes with intentionality.
We're far from perfect, and we certainly don't have all the answers. We're simply two people who have said "yes" to what God placed on our hearts.
Our prayer isn't that 1440 Ministries would simply inspire you to do more.
We pray it inspires you to live differently.
To notice the people around you.
To steward the gifts God has placed inside of you.
To pursue the dreams He's entrusted to you.
To love boldly.
To serve faithfully.
And one day, to stand before Him knowing you left nothing on the table.
Thank you for taking a few minutes to hear our story.
We hope one day we'll have the opportunity to hear yours.
