A Dream Restored at 68
One of our founding partners recently reminded us that it's never too late for God to breathe life into a dream.
What began as a desire to simply get healthier became a journey of faith, discipline, and surrender. Along the way, God rekindled a dream she had quietly laid aside—to step back onto the powerlifting platform.
There were moments of doubt, setbacks, and every reason to quit. But she chose to trust God, show up, and give Him her very best.
She left the competition with 1st Place in her age division, 2nd Place in her weight class, and five Texas State Records.
When we trust God with the dreams He's placed in our hearts, He often does more than we could ever imagine.
A Dream Brought Back to Life
During a 1440 Wellness Weekend, one attendee felt God awaken a dream that had been buried for years. She had always wanted to play the drums, but life had pushed that dream aside.
She left believing it wasn't too late. Since then, she's purchased her first drum set, begun taking lessons, and is preparing to serve on her church's worship team.
When God revives a dream, He also gives the courage to pursue it.
Purpose in Progress
Every transformation begins with one decision.
Someone close to our ministry shared that, for the first time in years, they were dreaming again. Through faith, discipline, and the simple choice to keep showing up, they discovered that the biggest obstacle wasn't their circumstances—it was believing that change was still possible.
Today, they're pursuing goals they once considered impossible and living with a renewed sense of purpose and expectation for the future.
Purpose isn't found in one defining moment. It's discovered through thousands of faithful ones.
